One of the guiding principles of Chagrin Falls Dental is service to the community. We went into dentistry not just because we love the science of dental health or the artistry needed to create a beautiful smile, but because it gives us the opportunity to use our interests and natural talents to help those in need. This is one of the many reasons our team is happy to be able to volunteer our services with Medworks.
More About Medworks
Medworks is an organization that was founded to provide healthcare services to residents of Northeast Ohio and the Greater Cleveland area who are underinsured and uninsured. Since 2009, Medworks has served over 16,000 Ohioans with over 40,000 appointments in 60 free clinics. The services offered by Medworks include dental, medical, and vision care. With its Care + Connect approach, the organization provides necessary immediate care and also helps patients connect with providers in their local communities for follow-up and continued care.
Medworks services include:
- Medical consults
- Dental services
- Eye exams & prescription eyeglasses
- Cancer screenings
- Nutrition counseling
- Mental health assessments
- Follow-up appointments
- Health insurance
- Prescription medications
- Community resources
As dentists and hygienists who volunteer at Medworks free clinics, our team provides comprehensive dental evaluations, oral cancer screenings, dental hygiene services, tooth extractions, and restorative dentistry, which includes bridges, dental fillings, crowns, and dentures.
Find an Upcoming Free Clinic
If you are struggling to afford dental, medical, or vision care and you are uninsured or underinsured, you can find upcoming free clinics near you on the Medworks website. Medworks also offers telehealth clinics that allow patients to meet with healthcare providers over a video or phone call. While Medworks services are free, appointments are required to reserve a spot.
Give to Medworks
Dentists, physicians, and other healthcare providers from all over Northeast Ohio generously give their time to Medworks, but additional monetary donations are needed for equipment and supplies. If you’re interested in making a donation, visit the Medworks website to contribute to their Annual Fund.
You can also volunteer with Medworks in a number of roles, even if you’re not a healthcare provider. Medworks needs guides, interpreters, social workers, and volunteers to set up and take down equipment during each of their free clinics.
